In 2007 the name was changed to OIL TRADING ESTONIA which imports the GULF product line from GULF OIL INTERNATIONAL’s officially licensed and approved manufacturer; Transnational Blenders BV, based in Dordrecht: The Netherlands.

OIL TRADING Estonia has its own storage facility based in Tallinn, its own fully equipped delivery system. All set up to ensure fast & accurate deliveries to our clients all across Estonia.

Mr. Maarten Herman van Gent (22-03-1947 Rotterdam, The Netherlands) was the owner and president of Gulf Oil Estonia, which was sold in 2007 to Gulf Oil Nederland BV.

In 1992, Mr. van Gent established his first company in Estonia named Van Gent AS. Through this company a real estate and other companies have been established.
The company activities grew throughout the years, which led to the following step in the year

1999: the creation of the Gulf Van Gent Holding, in order to control all these activities.

Gulf Van Gent Holding is active in real estate, import & export and representing and managing foreign companies in Estonia.
In 2003 he incorporated Gulf Oil Estonia AS and in 2005 Global Oil Trading OU in Estonia and GULFOIL.SNG in Russia.

In 2009 Global Oil Trading bought and sold the JCN Biodiesel factory at Halle in Germany.
Global Oil Trading OU buys since 2007 the fuels for the Gulf Oil stations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
